My photoKayaks: the silent killer

As you can see, this site is still very much in the construction phase. However, it's far enough along that I can start adding dynamic content like this blog.

Work on this site started a few days ago when I realized that within a few months I would be PCSing (non-military speak: leaving) Offutt Air Force Base. All the photos, articles, papers and graphics that I had produced up to this point wouldn't be making the trip with me, unless I started collecting them.

So, that's what this site is for. It's an archive of most of my work, with the best work prominently displayed (as on the left). It's also a place for me to write about upcoming events, as well as weekly goals, both job and non-job related.

Over the next few weeks I'll be filling out the site's various sections, and adding new ones with more personal information.

The photo above was taken during a bike ride along one of Omaha's many trails. While I'm sure the sign made perfect sense to its maker, it's a little out of context next to a gravel path.
